Know someone we should meet?

1. Reward

• ¥120,000 for your first placed referral, and ¥150,000 for each of the second to fifth.
• Rewards are limited to 5 placed referrals per referrer in any 12-month period.

2. How to refer

• Email information@shinkatalent.com with the subject "Referral", giving the person's name and contact details. No resume is required.
• Before referring, speak to the person directly and confirm they are happy to be contacted by Shinka Talent. Passing on contact details alone does not qualify.
• We recommend copying the person on your email.
• The referral date is the date we receive your email.

3. Who qualifies

• The person must not have contacted, applied to or met with Shinka Talent before the referral date.
• If Shinka Talent contacted the person previously and received no reply, the referral still qualifies.
• If the same person is referred more than once, the first valid referral received applies.

4. Eligible roles and timing

• Roles marked as eligible in the job post or on this page.
• The person must accept an offer within 6 months of the referral date.

5. Payment

• Paid within 14 days of Shinka Talent receiving the hiring company's fee in full.
• If the hiring company does not pay, no reward is due.
• We will contact you once the person's start is confirmed.
• Rewards are paid as an Amazon.co.jp gift card sent by email, or a gift card of equal value at Shinka Talent's discretion.

6. Exclusions

• Self-referrals.
• Referrals by employees of the hiring company to roles at their own company.
• Referrals by staff of Shinka Talent or its partner placement agency.

7. General

• Rewards may be taxable income for the recipient. The recipient is responsible for their own tax reporting.
• Referrers are not agents of Shinka Talent and must not make commitments or representations about a role or its outcome.
• Personal information is handled under our Privacy Notice. Please share it only with the person's consent.
• No reward is paid where the referrer or the referred person is connected to anti-social forces.
• Shinka Talent may change or end this programme without notice. Referrals received before a change remain under the terms in place at the time.
• These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If the Japanese and English versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
